Greetings from Cannes everyone! I had the honor of attending the Cannes Film Festival to watch Money Monster, directed by Josie Foster, with Loreal Paris. It was truly an unforgettable experience! I’ve never been to the Cannes Film Festival before and have only been expose to it through magazines and television. And oh my gosh! I’ve never seen a movie theater filled with so many well-dressed people. As I was walking down the red carpet into the theater, I could feel the raw energy of the place. It was loud, vibrant, grand, and incredibly overwhelming. As I was taking everything in, I kept on telling myself… this is a once-in-a-lifetime experience so appreciate every moment of it!
For the event, I wanted to play with a fun silhouette. A deep necklace (with the help of a lot of fashion tape), a sheer back panel, and a faux fur skirt, I absolutely adore this dress! To continue to theme of fun textures, I paired the dress with a braided belt and a crown braid.
And the movie, it was entertaining! The film is a drama/thriller and I was on the edge of my seat for a couple of the scenes. I appreciated the exploration of having the antagonist, who you actually emphasize for very much, becoming more of a protagonist towards the end of the film.
I hope you enjoyed the styling and special thanks to Loreal Paris for this incredible Cannes experience! I don’t know what I did to deserve this. Thank you so so much.
As always, thank you so much for reading and have a great weekend!
